PLAY 1: "WHAT'S FOR
PUDDING" |
| Jack and Mary are preparing themselves for yet another
stultifyingly boring night in, when the doorbell rings unexpectedly. What
follows is a series of anarchic comic revelations, as we meet their friends Ted
and Maureen, and the foursome proceed to get the wrong side of a bottle of
whiskey. Their antics are witnessed by a bemused Dennis, who only turns up to
order a pair of brown flared trousers from Mary's catalogue, but ends up with a
lot more than he bargained for
|
| PLAY 2: "JOINING THE
CLUB" |
| Joining The Club tells the story of a highly
successful career woman who becomes unexpectedly expectant. This is the night
that Jenny plans to reveal the results of her home pregnancy test to her
husband, Tom. But he has some startling news of his own! |
| PLAY 3: "LAST TANGO IN LITTLE
GRIMLEY" |
| Little Grimley Amateur Dramatic Society is in trouble.
The membership has dwindled to four - the audiences aren't much bigger - and if
they don't come up with some rent money soon, they're going to be thrown out.
"There's only one thing that sells tickets these days" argues Gordon the
Chairman. "Sex!". Thus begins the chaotic and hilarious build-up to an evening
of extraordinary home-grown drama - an evening the locals would never
forget! |
Reviews from the audience: "Well done everyone

havent laughed so much in a long time. Thanks to all for a great evening.

"Well done Matt and the gang. Thoroughly enjoyed the show . I
particularly loved "Ted and Maureen" when they were "playing tennis" between
Jack and Mary, and well done to Pete for stripping off on stage!! How brave!
Once again, really well done to all and look forward to the next production.
"
